Dying to Live
Seminar Title: How to Die Right and Live to Tell About It How do you take an old theme that is laced with time-worn clichés and platitudes and bring fresh thought and vitality to it? Clarence and Dianna Schilt have done just that in their seminar that focuses on the theme of surrender and dying to self. They do this in two ways. First, by bringing unusual insight and thought provoking perspectives to key Biblical passages. And secondly, by presenting some remarkably practical applications for living the surrendered life. Their seminar, “How to Die Right and Live to Tell About It,” will do more to help you live a truly Christ-centered life than anything else you’ve experienced in a long time. Using Paul’s metaphor, their focus is on “how to die well” (to self) and center one’s life in Christ. One of the most appealing aspects of their seminar is that it is heavily laced with their own personal stories. They are exceptionally vulnerable in talking about their individual growth and the transformation that has occurred in their marriage. The seminar takes around five hours of total presentation time that can be broken up into a variety of options in terms of time lengths for each session. The Schilts have presented this in local churches, retreats, camp meetings and workers’ meetings. They are accepting two invitations a month and are now booked up through October.
